Louisville Kitchen Is Attacked by Mold

These two photos illustrate the skills utilized by our SERVPRO Applied Microbial Remediation Technicians at this Louisville kitchen. The mold infestation, caused by an on-going slow leak in the wall ruined a section of the drywall and particle board. Demolition removed the non-salvageable materials which we wrapped in poly sheeting for safe disposal. Before closing up the rebuild, we sprayed an antifungal agent within the cavity to reduce future mold attacks. We carefully preserved and restored the bulk of the mold damage area including the countertops with attention to detail and careful planning to dovetail with the wishes of the owner.
