Storm Damage – Lafayette Retail Store

Storm damage struck this Lafayette retail store when a series of severe thunderstorms swept through the area dumping an excessive amount of rainfall in its path. The before photo shows just how much water damage was caused at the store. SERVPRO of Lafayette / Louisville was chosen to clean up the water due to the amount of equipment and manpower we were able to commit on an emergency basis. The store wanted the water cleaned up quickly and professionally so they could get back to business. We packed up the contents once the majority of the water had been pumped out with trailer mounted water extraction equipment and moved them to our warehouse for restoration. The after photo shows the site with commercial air movers and dehumidifiers at work to finish the drying process.
